What happens at my first counselling appointment?

Your first session will allow time us to get to know each other, providing you with a chance to see our working style and determine if you think we’re a good fit. It’ll also allow us time to answer any questions you may have and for us to learn some basic information about any challenges you’re facing.  We’ll also use this session to see if we think skill set can help support you effectively.  If we feel we can help, we’re aware you may need to time to decide if you want to work with us. Alternatively, you can decide to book another session before you head out.
