Payment options
Private counselling is not covered by MCP, although it may be covered by extended health insurance if you have coverage for a clinical counsellor.
Many extended medical plans cover counselling services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and/or Registered Social Workers (RSW) with a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). Please check with your employer or insurance company to verify that you will be covered.
Cancellations
Missed or broken appointments represent a cost to us, to you and to other clients who could have been seen in the time set aside for you.
We ask that 48-hour notice be given to cancel appointments. Appointments cancelled within 48-hours or failing to appear without notice will be billed for the entire session.
